I reduced my carbs. But still have them as I feel my body needs them and I enjoy them. I was terrified to start with as you would see from earlier posts but now I feel I am in control it is not controlling me. I know what will put my blood levels up and that's up to me if I choose to eat it. I am very strict 6 days a week but one day I have mostly what I want. So if I fancy Chinese on a Saturday I will have it. Life is too short. I still get very "down" days but think that's normal from what u read of others. I have tried to up my ex recuse more but having Fibro does restrict the amount. I eat tons of veg and fruit, I cook everything from scratch. I reduced sugar in baking to next to nothing and it all turns out fine. The family don't mind it either. Good luck with your journey. People are so nice on here, supporting and just "being" there. Xx
Robbity. You've done amazingly well too. I can't seem to lose weight though. Gets me down. I put on several stone when my thyroid was radiated. I lost two but still would like to lose another two. I just stay stable go up and 3lb. Very annoying. X
