Keto Homemade wraps and bread

Has anybody else tried making these? I have made a couple from YouTube and quite frankly I think that they taste disgusting. Wraps 1 egg, quarter tsp baking powder,1 tablespoon coconut flour,15 grams butter, melt the butter and add rest of ingredients to the butter. Put into microwave for nearly two mins.. This tasted so sweet. You could taste the butter and coconut. This actually tasted like a flat omelet that had ingredients that should not be in there. It is basically an omelet mixture with coconut, butter and baking powder in. The guy in the video then puts a sausage and cooked onions on top and used the egg mixture as a wrap. I would much rather have a normal omelette with sausage and onion inside
 
It sounds disgusting. I'd rather have a toasted Lidl roll with 2 fried eggs, a sausage and piece of bacon.
 
Is it possible to make a thin flat omelette and use it as a wrap?
Some Asian dishes make these thin omelettes, roll them up and cut them into rounds to place on top as a kind of tasty garnish.

Yes, Chinese omelette...They also put in curried rice as a filling with chicken, but obviously, we cannot have the rice. Yes same, we may as well do that with a delicious filling and use as a wrap. The coconut and 15 grams of butter in that recipe have to say was horrible lol

You can vary this recipe by including different types of seeds, such as chia seeds, nigella seeds, pumpkin seeds, caraway seeds.

I also use this recipe for flatbread by using a rolling pin and then baking it in the oven or in a pan.

You have to make it flat and then cut it in half to make a sandwich.. and if your baking powder is old it doesn't rise (as I found out to my cost the first time I tried it...)
 
I also tried and failed at making edible keto wraps! In the end I found that the Carbzone low carb tortillas barely touched my blood sugar at all, so I've been using them instead. They aren't the cheapest but you can buy about 16 for £6 on Amazon.
 
I have tried both the 90 sec almond or coconut mug "bread" I slightly amended so a couple of heaped teaspoons( or flat tablespoons) of almond flour or coconut flour a bit of salt and 1/4 tea spoon baking powder one egg and bit of olive oil put in a mug and 90 sec in a microwave. I found them very acceptable (almond is better in my view ) and and not too sweet - maybe it is the salt because I do not have a sweet tooth. However I have them as treat rather than thinking them as bread - did try and make a bacon butty but not quite as good as a real one but OK.
 
I just make low carb pancakes (eggs + philidelphia whisked vigorously, left to let air bubbles disipate and then fried, like pancakes) and use them as wraps for my packed lunches instead of sandwiches etc.

They do turn out just like pancake/crepes so will likely disappoint any omelette desire, but the same batter poured in a muffin tin and baked make little fluffy, more noticably eggy, buns, that might satiate the omelette desire. But then I do love a mini crustless quiche, so I might be biased.
 
Stop it woman. You're purposefully teasing me with your culinary delights.
Looks like time in the kitchen this weekend.
