Ketones

    So I am getting stressed out for the last 3 days I've been getting ketones then they've gone then they come back again. I am taking my insulin and a lot of it don't understand why they keep reading I have them

    My bg is between 8-15 mmol I do get dawn phenom in a morning but the ketones are sticking around then going then coming back, not ill but am a little stressed and my doctors not very good tbh to the point where he fobs me off

    8 ~ 15 would explain it. That is too high. Concentrate on reducing levels ketones will go. record results, before meals, two hours after, no snacks between unless treating a low. , test before bed, and in morning, aiming between 5~6. On going to bed your.last bolus injection 4 hours prior, no snacks unless to correct a low. That would be a good place to start.
