It's now been about three weeks since I started looking after my diet/health again, after a period of being rather cavalier in my approach to my diabetes.
My glucose level was 77mg/dl (4,3 mmol) while the A1c score 6% or 42,1 mmol/mol- not fantastic but not the disaster I feared. By next time I hope to be back down in the 5 point something range ( in % terms).
Having adopted a more LCHF approach to my diet in the last three weeks, I was very interested to see the effect on my lipid count. Although probably too soon to draw any convincing conclusions, these latest counts have been my best ever:
Total chol. : 149 mg/dl or 3,89 mmol
LDL chol. : 88 mg/dl or 2,28 mmol
HDL chol. : 34 mg/dl or 0,88 mmol
Triglycerides:133 mg/dl or 1,5 mmol
All in all I am happy with these and will be a good benchmark to compare the next three months performance against.
