Excuse the cheek, but I'm a Type 2 cyclist and I'm riding from London to Paris for Diabetes UK, whose self management materials have helped me a lot.

Yes, good on you and I'd like to support you.
My husband did this ride several years ago, starting at Greenwich and ending on the Champs-Élysées cobbles. I drove him to the start and then got a bit lost trying to get out of London.
