I've been diabetic 23 years and the tops of my legs have inward lumps where I've been injecting in them for so long. Just wondered if anyone has any tips on how to make them look any better.. Any products or procedures anyone may have used that have improved the look of them?

Keep away from that area for a while and inject elsewhere, if the lumps persist then discuss it with your DSN or Consultant.

I'm in a pump now and don't ever use the areas anymore just trying to make it look abit better as it makes me abit paranoid swimming and on holiday etc

Avoid the area, and massage some cream in after bathing to increase blood flow to the area and break down lumpy deposits. Would mention to your dsn/doc at next visit also.

They should disappear on their own accord if you are no longer using the areas. It can take several years if they are bad though. But make sure you do discuss with your DSN to ensure it is due to this and not being caused by some other issue.

Normally with these types of lumps they eventually break down over a period of time when the area is no longer used for injections. If I was you I'd rub the surrounding area with either a massage oil or moisturising body butter just to get the blood flow circulating. Hopefully that'll speed the process up for you :)

I don't think they do disappear on their own. I haven't injected into my upper arms or legs for at least 20 years but those areas still have lumps even though I never injected in the same place all the time. I was diagnosed in 1971 so maybe the older types of insulin weren't as pure as the ones now are.
When I was younger it did bother me but I guess I have got used to it now.
Maybe it would be possible to have liposuction? Ask your GP

I got my lump removed through the D consultant referring me to a plastic surgeon who did liposuction on my leg as a day case more or less. Best thing ever.
