low carb diet

HI.
Going to start a low carb diet, ideas on what are the danger carbs to cut out. Also going on hols soon ,long journey what can i snack on !!!! low carb of course. i-e dont like cheese or eggs.

Well, the 'big 5' are certainly bread, potatoes, pasta, rice and sugar. If you can avoid that lot then you're most of the way there already!

Low carb snacks on a plane? Nuts are good, but be careful of peanuts and cashews. Good quality sausage such as chorizo for example. Fresh green veggies such as celery sticks, green peppers etc.

None of them is the short answer!

You could make your own cereal if you really miss it. Use equal quantities of flax seeds, desicatted coconut, pumkin seeds, sunflower seeds and chopped almonds, with a sprinkling of cinnamon.
