M1 Maculopathy

Hi

Received a letter today to say they found M1 Maculopathy at my last screening.

Have been bawling my eyes out all night worrying about this.

I work really hard to have good bg control and my last HBA1c was 5.9.

Just trying to figure out how this has happened when my control is good. I feel like I'm doing everything I should be but still things are stacked against me.

Anyone else out there in a similar situation?

Thanks.

Hi toastlover,

Sorry to hear that you have been feeling so worried etc, I hope you are feeling better now. I just came on to research about eye screening as I have to have an eye screening test at the hospital and I am photo phobic so I am getting a bit anxious but hey anxiety and worry etc are not good for you so I hope you have been able to get some good advice from people in similar situations, if not put your question out there again.
