Medtronic Carelink problem

I upgraded my computer and the Carelink connection no longer works. Medtronic say that they are waiting for approval to release a new version of the programme that will work with the upgrade but for the time being I can't download my test results to Carelink. BEWARE before upgrades!

For anyone who also has this problem in 2017 due to firefox 52.0 upgrade on macbook, you must download a version of firefox 51 or under, mozilla has stopped support for java in version 52 of firefox browser. You can obtain previous versions of firefox here

I downloaded version 51.0.1 . Also once you download it make sure you go to preferences-> Advanced and select 'Never check for updates' so that it won't auto update and stop working again.
