Hello.
Does Metformin aid weight gain??? My Metformin was doubled six weeks ago from 500 to 1000 daily because my hba1c had gone up slightly. My diet remains unchanged but there is a weight gain of several pounds. Type 2. only medication I'm on.

hya,
if anything metformin is supposed to help lose weight,i was using it with insulin for that purpose and it did work
