I was put on metformin in january.i was fine till last week i have my metformin then my meal 3 hours later i have bad cramps then im of the toilet with the runs.help.

It should get better if it dos not go back to doc and tell him their is a SR metformin

I was told to take metformin with my meal and i have never had any probelms.

Met is meant to be taken with food.

I agree with the others, metformin is to be taken just before, or with food
