Hi does anyone else have the same dilemma as me?
Over the 30 years I have suffered Migraines - a high carb meal seems to dull the pain but now I'm diabetic and have been trying to low carb...a carb meal helps one disease but sends the other into orbit.

Hi ninasings!

I've had migraines for around 25 years and diabetes for around 5. When I've got a migraine, I don't usually want to eat at all - I just feel sick, so I don't know if carbs ease the pain. However, I do find my BG drops low during migraines - I wonder if you get the same, because carb would certainly raise your BG which would make you feel better if you were running low.

The only thing that eases the pain and sickness of migraines for me is Imigran - it's not a very nice drug, but it's the most effective at tackling migraines.
