Well I was due for some better news I thought since being diagnosed with Hyperparathyroidism. Whilst the dentist at least gave my teeth a clean bill of health I was more nervous this time of my Hba1c being only dx in April.
Anyway it is 5.3 today so I feel quite pleased.
Interestingly the nurse took the blood without a tourniquet (spelling!) as she said that could skew the result upward?
My good progress with my sugar levels has been possible mostly through the information provided here in this very helpful forum. Of course I will have to take a little credit for applying the knowledge and doing the exercise.
I loved the recent comment by the Newcastle Professor who said rationing would help diabetes control in this country. I am sure I am not the only 40 something who hasn't told their Mother of this due to fear of hearing all about how much healthier we all were back then and how our generation aren't going to live as long as theirs.
