Myfittnesspal on iOS now allows for customized nutrition goals

Pleased to see that the latest update of myfitnesspal app for iOS for the first time allows customized nutritional goals to be set eg lower carb. Until now goals were fixed at carbs/protein/fat 50/20/30 in terms of total calories from each macronutrient source.
This should be very useful for any diabetics on reduced carb intake.

How do you adjust it ? I've just looked and my carbs are set at 55% and i can't see how to change it ? Thanks.

If you go to goals and touch on one of Carbohydrates, Protein or Fat you should get a Macronutrients menu

I don't have an app, I use the website on my PC. This update has not been added to the website.

The website has had it for a while now.

Go to: My Home > Goals > Change Goals. Click on Custom and then click Continue

It only appears to be available on the iPhone version and jot the iPad one at present.

When I do that, all I can change are the fitness goals. There doesn't seem to be an option for changing the nutrition ones.

It's been like that for a while now. I don't recall when I adjusted my goals, but it would have been weeks, if not months ago.

I hope they apply the change to the iPad version, I have to sign onto my laptop to change goals and since I upgraded to Windoze 8 i I'd rather chew my own leg off than fire that machine up, and the linux box needs a new hard drive......
