I am joining the "I will lose weight to fit into this dress" group. I have just bought an Oasis dress from the charity shop - at £3.50 how could I not It is a size 8 - not long ago it would have been a 12/14. I just about managed to get it over my bum and get it on on it was just a bit too tight to zip up at the back.
I also bought a pair of fat face cropped trousers size 8 and they fit - if anything they are a bit big!
I went out and spent a small fortune on new tops (I'm a jeans and top girl despite my age). I was wearing size 18's. These are a mixture of 12's and 14's and perfect. I am struggling with jeans though. I was wearing size 16's and these are falling down on me. I ordered some 14's and they were also too big round the waist and bum. I then ordered size 12's. Perfect round the waist and bum, but far too tight on my legs. Why do they assume that the smaller the waist and bum the thinner the legs? Really struggling with this.
You do well to be a size 8 - brilliant @aqualung I don't think I have ever been an 8.
