New ketone strips - don’t go pink or purple.

I need help decifering these new strips, I picked them up from the local pharmacy as they had run out of ketostix.

Mine is the definitely negative one, daughters is on the right. Where would you place this?

Why are you testing your non diabetic daughters ketones? Presumably you've not been advised by a doctor to test ketones, or they would have prescribed ketone testing strips.

Trace ketones is normal in someone who has not been eating well, who has not been eating carbs or who has been sick.

Sorry I should have said that in the original post. Daughter had suspected ketotic hypoglycaemia, she has got a prescription, but the chemist had run out of the ketostix and I had to wait for them to be ordered in. However I have run out so picked them up while I waited.
She has eaten a ton today and drunk plenty too. About 1.5 litres.
