Hi all, Im new to the site but not new to diabetes, I've been Type 2 for 2 years. Looking forward to browsing the site and having a chat. I'm 49 and would like to lose some weight before I hit 50 next May.
Welcome. Weight loss seems to be pretty standard for many (but not all) T2s. I need to be half the woman I was. I have lost masses of weight by reducing and eliminating carbs - bread, pasta, rice and potatoes. Take a look at the diet forums. You need to find a diet that you can stick to for the rest of your life and that gives you the results that you want.
