newly diagnosed my readings are all above 14.7 up to 17

- Customer helplines that use recorded menus that promise to put me through to the right person but never do - and being ill. Oh, and did I mention customer helplines :)
Hi Philip and welcome to the forum, should you worry about your blood glucose (bg) levels, well not immediately as most newly diagnosed diabetics have similar levels but you would be well advised to start reducing them ASAP.
