Newly diagnosed

    I had a reading of 26.9 from a blood test I'm guessing that's high ?

    Ehhh yes. Very very high! In a type 1 and aim to be between 4.5 and 8. I'm not quite sure about type 2s but I think they're aiming for somewhere around 5
