Hello! I'm 22 and was diagnosed with type 1 a month ago. I was just wondering (girls) if your periods stopped before/during diagnosis? I was admitted to hospital with DKA and bg was 41, apparently the trauma can cause you to miss periods/stop having them altogether? Just wondered how long this lasts for and if it's common?

Yep it's common sometimes they are on time sometimes really early or late and sometimes they do skip lol but of everything
