My husband was diagnosed type 1 about 6 weeks ago and his levels are all over the place
He went to bed with a 9.6 reading and then when he got up for work at 3am they were 7.6 however again when he woke his t shirt was soaking wet literally
This has happened about three times previously too.
We are not sure if this is a hypo but how would this be with his readings ??
Any thoughts ??
Thanks in advance

hi there @bevellar
welcome to the forum :)
those actual numbers do not indicate a hypo in normal terms but with a diagnosis 6 weeks ago
and if your hubby was extremely high at diagnosis , then as the bloods come down to "in control" levels there is the definite possibility he has had a "false hypo".

what sort of numbers is your hubby getting most days ? how often is he testing ?
those numbers could provide a hint as to the 7.6 being a "false hypo".

one other thing though not diabetes related -- it seems unseasonally warm -- currently only using a 4.5 tog duvet on the bed here

all the best !!

Hypos, rude people, ignorance and grey days.
Morning Bevellar, his levels seem very stable to me, without doing a night time test it is difficult to indicate is was a night time hypo, typically we do awake if this is the case or experience other symptoms such as vivid dreams. Has he seen his doctor ?
