    i went for my diabetes review today and my nurse was very pleased she said my blood s were 41 is that good

    It is not even prediabetic - the top of the normal range.

    Well, the sw and meds have served you well. Have you thought about possibly using a lower carb approach to diet? There are those who have managed to lower their dosages of meds and some even manage to come off drugs all together using this method though it isn't easy and can take time and patience. Just a thought.
    You can pat yourself on the back, you are doing so well.

    It's excellent, but she probably wants to see that you're able to keep your glucose down at that sort of level before stopping the meds - my GP kept me on metformin for another couple of years before he decided I no longer needed to take it.
