This isn't necessarily diabetes related but I need to rant anyway. We're always hearing how much of a problem our nation has with alcohol. Scotland especially so. Crisis this, crisis that. I was in ASDA today. They were selling, wait for it... SMART PRICE Whisky. :shock: Other than the fact that such a thing being in existence is a crime against all good malts, who in their right mind thought selling Smart Price Whisky was a good idea here? It's not like ASDA's BWS aisle is so quiet they're over-stocked on real booze is it? Seriously...
I agree and I can see it in food diaries - I think it is fuelling the obesity crisis. I saw bottled water a few years ago with vodka in it - cannot see the point of it!
Well that depends, just how much Does anti-freeze cost :| It's 'cause it's summer, nobody has frost on the car so they sell it to bums instead.
It gets worse - they are converting good food into alcohol to burn in cars, using more hydrocarbon energy than they get alcohol energy. All they actually fuel is the price of food. Its obscene :twisted:
