Hi folks, I was just reading the back of a packet of Sainsbury's BGTY cereal bars, the sugar levels are 4.4g and the carbs 15.6 per bar, then I came across this new sugar substitute called oligofructose has anyone any info on it or have they had any kind of reaction to high BG whilst using a product with this in?

soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I read up a bit on this stuff
Mostly it's not broken down in the gut, so that would make it safe, however, I didn't find what the breakdown product is. If it's Fructose, which seems likely, It's not good to have much of this. It impinges on the liver and causes triglyceride production.
