What happens if you take more tabs than you're supposed to take? For example I take 3 x Metformins a day but if I can't remember if I actually took the 3rd one and took another one anyway what would happen?

Am I doomed?

As you only take 3 500mg ones and I take 3 850mg ones, you will be fine ...

By mistake I have taken 1000mg too much Metformin in the past. No bad effects so I don't think you have to worry. But if you can't remember how many you took, don't take an extra one as it won't hurt you to have one less for once if you actually did forget. I'm not sure if you have taken it or not from your post.

I'm only on 1 tablet a day and at the moment as soon as I open a pack I write M,Tu, W etc on the pack so I know if I've taken it that day. It helps me remember!
