Painful feet

Can anyone recommend a remedy for painful feet.I am type 2 and the pain is terrible mostly in the evenings.G.P. prescribed Amitriptyline 10mg but it doesn,t seem to work and i don,t like the drowsy side effects.Is it just a case of regulating sugar levels more or is there an alternative medication?...Thanks

Hi Brian

I also have really painful feet - feels like my bones are being crushed :( I take Amitriptyline for depression and it has no effect on this but a friend suggested Arnica gel from SBC (can get it quite cheaply on QVC) and it is really helpful. You can also soak your feet in arnica and this eases my feet no end.
