Customer helplines that use recorded menus that promise to put me through to the right person but never do - and being ill. Oh, and did I mention customer helplines :)

****! I thought I did reasonably well to lose 40% in 13 months, that guy has done amazingly well.

I've stayed mostly stable in the 3+ years since, but have put on a few pounds over 3 holidays this summer - this story has now inspired me to put my walking boots on and head out the door now for a good brisk walk.

See you in 10 miles or so, I think.

Editted to add:

In fact, managed 11.3 miles, according to my GPS. Involved 2 x 330ft climbs too.
