Profile pic

Any techies out there? Can anyone tell me how to upload a pic from iPhone to the forum app? Tried on the 'full version' but any pic (from the 'choose existing' option. but have taken new pic too) seems too big to use. Is there a way to do this on the app? How can you reduce the pixel (or is it megabyte?) size of pic!?!? I don't even understand the question!!!
