I've had my animas insulin pump for four months and I've decided to have a pump holiday for two weeks, one if which I'll be out of the country, partly due to where I'm going. My DSN was initially against the idea but eventually understood why I was having a pump holiday. Has anyone other pump users had a pump holiday? How long for and what were the main issues? I've been back on Lantus as my bolus and insulin pens since yesterday morning and things haven't been as bad as I thought but I'm also hooked up to a CGM until the session ends tomorrow. Just finding out/confirming how evil Lantus is! Only 13 days until back on the pump!
