Not relevant - then why have it in the documentation then?! I'd worry that stuff like that would be "not relevant" right up until the point where the pump got lost or stolen whilst I was in a car.I've just rung Insurance4pumps and been told that bit, is not relevant. Nothing like reading what Lloyd's the underwriters are putting in their documents
My household insurance will not cover me outside the house Carbs rock, plus have to pay £100 excess and then claim sent to a broker to see if they could replace. So Carbsrock where do we go to, if household insurance, won't cover???? Asked mine DD, but won 't cover outside, my home so where next???
For your own sake you need to make sure with your DSN and get it in writing. It would be a shame if you ended up with no pump due to the wrong info if something did unfortunately happen to your pump.I was told by a medical professional if it was costing u money dont bother as the pct made me sign a form to say that the pump belonged to them it should be the pct that are insuring the pump if they own it I was also told that in the unlikely event that it was lost stolen or damaged they would need to replace it

Well get it in writing then, so you are well and truly covered. It was the dsn who told 4 of us in the room apparently a lot of healthcare professionals are of the same opinion

Thanks for that. I will completely avoid in this case!A retired ins broker looked at the policy and said do not touch with a barge pole, just use your house contents ins, it's a lot cheaper and better cover. The retired broker has a pump
