Can anyone please recommend any good books for type 2 diabetics.
I want a book that is easy to read (not like a doctor's book)
That explains how food is turned to sugar and advices type two's how to manage their condition.
Also I would like a recipe book that follows a low carb diet.

I'm reading Reverse your Diabetes by Dr David Cavan which is all focused on T2 diabetes. Good so far.

I'm a bit disappointed with the recipes in the new Dr Cavan book. Much prefer the ones in Michael Mosley's book.

Bernstein's book is possibly a hard read and he is strict in his recommendations. I have bought in excess a dozen books but the best in my opinion was

Detailed but a reasonably easy read and not as restrictive as Bernstein.

You pays your money and makes your choices....i am following Dr R Bernsteins advices and i am living proof that his recomendations work ( for me)
