red rash after injecting novorapid

hi guys ! been a while since i last posted here, but i just injected my novorapid into my thigh and almost immediately a little red rash appeared and its raised where the needle went in, resembles an insect bite but the rash goes about 5cm across, it's not like a lump from injecting into the same spot, it's worrying me though :(!

Hi,

What size needle do you use? i'm thinking maybe you didnt inject deep enough!?

do you sometimes hesitate whilst injecting and maybe it wasnt pushed all the way in?

I've had it on my thigh once or twice a little red lump, can be itchy too! it went away after a while but can be quite sore! keep an eye on it and if it doesn't seem to be going away see your GP or DN about it :)
