I have been working in the Middle East for the last 3 years and was diagnosed as type 1, 18 months ago here in the Middle East

I have never driven In the UK since being diagnosed and have very little in terms of medical support here I.e GP, consultant or any specialist.

I'm returning to the UK in a few months to take up a new job and as such will need to complete the required forms and send them to the DVLA.

I will also need to register with a doctor and be referred to a specialist etc. I'm not sure how to complete the form since A lot of information will be blank.

    Any ideas?

Get registered with a GP ASAP, fill in as much as form as you can, I don't have a diabetes specialist, which in my opinion is a positive when it comes to DVLA
