I’m tearing my hair out with my surgery, after a lot of pushing the Gp asked the diabetes team if it was ok to prescribe semaglutide which they said yes to they said there was no chance of osemphic injections as there’s no supply mounjaro wasn’t even mentioned. So the Gp said she’d be happy to prescribe but just needs to run it by the in-house clinical pharmacist who has now said I need an appointment with her to “check a few things” no appointments for 2 weeks - so those who have been prescribed the tablets what are they so concerned about? honestly a Gp now has to check with two different sources before they can prescribe something .. anyone with experience of this id appreciate your thoughts
