Maybe try asking your pump rep? No, I'd expect the DN to be more clued up than the pharmacist, but it is probably worth while working out whether the issue is the insulin or some soert of sensitivity to the cannula. (Disclaimer, I have no idea.)The nurse has got back to me and suggested I go to the pharmacist for advice for a topical cream or maybe a different size cannula. I'm not very impressed with this response to be honest .... any thoughts gratefully recieved
I use cavilon cream under my cgm, which does give me a rash if I don't. (I apply it twice.) My tandem rep was very helpful when I ask for advice about this.
