Dear Friends and Family of those with Diabetes,

Please put World Diabetes Day, Nov 14th 2013, in your diaries and join us in the first annual Stop.Diabetes.Fast event, raising money for Diabetes UK and JDRF. It is a 24 hour fast and all you have to do is donate what you would have spent on food (recommend £10 but can be any amount) on our fundraising page.

For those with Diabetes fasting is not recommended but you can still donate and/or tell all your family and friends to get involved. See the donation page for further details :

People who join web forums to be agressive and cause trouble
An excellent idea to raise money for diabetes research but just a brief reminder that it is for friends and family of people with diabetes.

Do not try this if you have diabetes yourself.
