Strange results with new freedom lite strips

Good morning.

Since the beginning of the week I have been using the new freedom lite test strips, and my morning readings have gone down from circa 7.3 to 5.5.

This morning I have used the new and old strips on two different machines, and the older strips, and it is only the newer strips that give me the much lower reading.

Any ideas.

I don't use the same monitor and strips as you, but I have come accross odd readings with one set of strips before. So now when I am keeping my records I always note when I change to the new strips in case of odd results.

I will have to order some more of the same strips as I have tried a number of times, and the results are always about 2.2 lower on these new strips.

I kept getting strange results with my old freedom lite test monitor. If you ring the company, they may replace the strips though you would need to send them back to Abbott.

I changed to a new meter in the end as I couldn't get reliable results.
