Supplements and Metformin

Can anyone please tell me if it's ok to take supplements such as chromium and magnesium citrate together with Metformin.
I am type 2 and my glucose levels are pretty stable around the 6.6 mark;I have been prescribed 500mg of Metformin twice daily.

As no one has answered your question and in the interest of safety, I would check with your gp first and discuss why you may need to take these supplements.

Thank you. I'm going to see my GP tomorrow about something totally unrelated but I could mention it to him.
