Test strip control solution...

Hi,
My control reading for my latest batch of strips (5.5 to 8.4) came in at 6.5.
This is definitely the lowest that I have had before, typically they come in at a shade over 7.
The question is this, what effect ( if any) would these strips have on my BG results?
My gut feeling is that they will under measure, thus giving me lower results than actual.
When we are dealing with tolerances, my experience would suggest that the more extreme that you are, coupled to other tolerances with the meter accuracy itself, the less accurate the readings.

Anyone any ideas or answers please?
