Is it possible to test to see what foods effect my BG without waiting for 2 hours? Can I test after say 30mins? I appreciate it won't be a true reading but would it be OK as a comparison?
I am testing but the trouble is a lot of meals have more than one component so I don't know if the carrots are having an effect or the humous, the bergen bread or the soup, milk or the oatibix etc., etc., The only solution I can see is to have one thing at a time and then test 2hrs later. But thats a lot of small snacks spread out over a very long time.
