As the title says thank you all for the very useful help and advice i have been given by all who answered my questions, i have at last got my nurse to rake me seriously about my ever increasing sugar levels and i am to start insulin on Monday,She still says i am a type 2 and i have no reason to disbelieve her but with full dosage of gliclazide and a sugar level at 30.6 going to bed and 21.4 fasting makes me a little skeptical.

I have felt very unwell for the last few days and i am so looking forward to starting this treatment as i am sure it will decrease my levels and hopefully restore some of my lost energy, so once again thank you all for the help it really is very much appreciated and i am sure i will be more active on the insulin side of the forums

Regards
Stillo

Good news. I found it a really welcome relief when I was finally given insulin although I'm still on the books as aT2. I'm afraid some of the medical profession needs to catch-up with the state of knowledge about diabetes
