Having being diagnosed just before Christmas, I honestly felt like pooh. I have had enough drama in my life without this, but from the point of believing that I would be dead within a week, or have some extremity removed the day after diagnosis, I have reached the conclusion that the way forward will be dictated and controlled by ME, and nobody else.
That belief has come from reading carefully, and taking the advice from others who followed the same path, and probably had the same despair (and that was what it was) as me. Positivity has returned, so to all those who give support and advice:
