The effects of hot weather on bg levels

Sorry if this is an ignorant question for those well versed in these topics. My daughter was recently diagnosed with type 2.

Just a quick question: apart from dehydration has anyone had any complications with sudden drops of bg levels, etc because of the summer-time weather?

Just curious if there are any special actions I need to take to prevent bad events.

Hi I have t1 and the hot weather giv s me sudden bg lows. I drop my insulin, but I also eat more, make sure I have sugar on me, more testing and I try to keep my body tem down as much as possible. It sounds lovely how you want to help which is a big help.
