I had to go 3 times to my city hospital for my c-peptide and insulin test in Oct/Nov coz of problems with my blood sample! It then transpired that they had reported the first result to my GP but it hadn't been correctly imported into my file. They had to send the sample off to Surrey County Hospital for the specialist test, so I presume result wasn't on their usual automated reporting system? It all got sorted after I spoke with the hospital lab manager who then spoke with my surgery. I did get a verbal apology from the doctor. It took a further 2 months and 2 requests to get the results in my file, but with the wrong date!
I only mention this in case it's a data entry problem for Wolfie? Hope it gets sorted soon.

Oh @tina_marie send my concern to Ron.
Ive had a hard day today. I just cannot cope with talking about my health problems to companies etc.
I'm ill from a booked encounter. I just cannot settle down for the evening. Sooo stressed out..... about nothing, I know but I get so hormonal lately. I refuse to see my GP about this never ending monthly since I've been assured not going through the change. Just lack of Metformin, I feel.
Whenever will my period cramp pass? If my iron starts to feel low though I'll have no choice. :(

He’s slept most of the day . Again me having to lift him off the bed when he’s needed the loo . My back is going to be screaming again. When he relapses he can’t tolerate light nor loud noise . His legs have been so painful today , that any walking has been slow .

Give me strength. Rons spasms are back even though dr has upped the baclofen , which I told him was a waste of time as it wouldn’t last for very long . Has anyone got a gp that listens as ours seem to be deaf.

My GP says tramadol or dihydrocodeine taken with paracetamol helps the meds work better. Give practice a ring about if OK to add to paracetamol? Or call any chemist. A chemist has more time if you use them on their quite period.
I hope he gets more relief soon.

We’ve tried that didn’t work. Ron has an opiate resistance . He’s also had quite a few meds removed from his prescription. Hopefully when we’re at the hospital they can help him there .

Rons hospital appointment last Thursday, apparently they have to do bp and weight before you can see the dr, Ron didn’t want it done . Told the nurse 3 times but she just kept on . Ron asked for lights to be switched off as they hurt his eyes . We were in a room just a bit bigger than a broom cupboard yet there were 2 strip lights on . She then asked him a load of questions all of which he’d answered on previous visits . Yet when I tried to intervene she said that she could only write down what Ron answered and told me to shut up. I could see all this was confusing Ron which intensifies pain. Then had to sit outside drs room as he hadn’t turned up . Asked again for lights off to which got told no for safety reason yet we were at the end of a corridor . So when nurse left us I turned them off . Ten minutes later dr turned up , so in the room he pulled curtains across and only had background lights on . Ron was so tired by this time it was decided by dr to put him back on pregabalin which our gp has only just stopped and to discharge him to our local community hospital for pain management. Another med he has also suggested is duloxetine.we are now waiting for letter from hospital to go see our gp for prescription I will also be asking him if he can help with all this messing about with bp stuff so Ron doesn’t have to go through this again. He was told he has to have this done every visit .
