Trigger finger surgery

I just had surgery on my right thumb due to trigger problems. I had this done three and a half weeks ago. I seem to be having pain on this finger. Does andone know how long it will take to heal up. The stiches were taken out after 3 weeks. I will be seeing the doctor tommorrow as my sick note is running out then. I dont think I am ready to go to work yet since I use my hands a lot. I just want the pain to go away. I am on cocodamol and ibruprofen. All this is doing is also making me sleepy all the time. Has anyone experienced this? :shock:

Hi I am Tammy. I had 3 trigger fingers done. After 3 weeks my pain level was actually low. Don't return to work if you think you are gonna bust it open, then we have to worry about infection. (happened to me from returning too soon) For pain I was actually given vicodan. In 4 weeks I was good to go. Do you have an infection? Is there swelling and or throbbing. Tell your Dr. all of your concerns. I hope your appointment goes well. :wave
