Has anyone used it? I wanted to find out if it is benign to blood sugars. I usually bake with Stevia, but all my usual retailers are currently out of stock! Am i right in thinking that Truvia uses Stevia and Erythritol? I have used Natvia in the past with no problems, which contains those ingredients. It would be handy if Truvia could get me out of a fix if I run out of my stockpile of Stevia, as I can just walk down to Morrisons and purchase some :)

"It is manufactured from a blend of three ingredients, which are:

  • Erythritol: a sugar alcohol.

  • Rebaudioside A: a sweet compound isolated from the stevia plant, listed as Rebiana on the label (1).

  • Natural Flavors: it is unclear exactly what this means."
I can't speak to the validity of this website, but it says that Stevia and Truvia are not the same thing.

Thanks for the info. Thankfully, I have been saved! This arrived today, courtesy of my parents.
