Hi
I have just found out I am about 6 weeks pregnant was at the hospital today for my first appointment but they cannot confirm my exact date as I have pcos my periods are irregular.
The have advised me how important for my blood sugars to be very tightly controlled, my overall bloods were 53 so they were happy with that but just need to g the every day ones down. I find my morning ones are really high so they have told me to start taking my lantus at 9pm instead of 6pm. With changing my lantus to this time will that have an effect on my last blood sugar reading before bed ? Just suddenly thought about this when came back from hospital. If I am going to my bed just after 9 I will obviously be testing just at the same time I have taken lantus so that won't have shown and my readings could be high - do I leave them high or would I take some humalog?
Sorry for the massive speel just would like some feedback as so worried these highs are going to be bad for my baby.
Thanks
Vicki
