Hi thank you all so much for the help with the breakfast issue...am just needing to find out the range for blood glucose at bedtime, there is info online but it says 8.00 which I think applies to type 1?....since I sacked the porridge and bread lol and cut right down on carbs, my evening readings, 2 hrs after meal have gone down, the day after the first non porridge, the evening meal reading was 8.1, the following evenings have been 6.7 and I had an 8 carb snack at 7.30 after that reading, and then 6.5 last night and I had the same 8 carb snack at 7.30. Am in bed reading by 9pm as my fibromyalgia knocks me out physically. Mornings i've only done twice (was a bit scared to look before to be honest) and they were 5.6 yesterday and 6.6 this morning. My meals are now fish or chicken and salads, or spinach, broccoli etc. the asda salt and pepper crackers and ham that i found with next to nothing carb/sugar wise. Becoming a real carb scrutinizer which is the best way for me obviously as I wasn't before. Am I getting the evening numbers right? sometimes felt a bit weird but that could just be my body getting used to not so high blood glucose levels. Sorry for rambling...
