I am lucky enough to have a GP practise that will provide strips and a meter.
When should I test and what do I do with the results i.e. If high do I then starve to bring them down? Do I test before and after each meal?
I am Type 2 for 3 years, has taken me this long to accept it and realise I am responsible for my own care etc.
I have lost 3 stone on the LCHF diet current Current BMI 29 , HbA1c 43, BP 137/77, Cholesterol 3.8, LDL 1.9.
I am hoping that by testing I can moderate my diet and achieve lower levels therefore reducing my need for meds.
Any advice on a structured testing approach etc?
