Is there a way I can do that idk how to use forums very well
A food diary was my suggestion when you decided to give ADF a try @cdpm.

Regardless of whether you continue with ADF, by posting what you've eaten on this thread, you'll build a daily record for future reference.

Commiserations @cdpm. Please know we're rooting for you.

Please make sure you have plenty to drink. You can't beat water out of the tap IMO, but almost any sugar-free beverage will do.

Wow! Thanks for the compliment @Boodicca.

I'm always on the lookout for new, mouthwatering recipes and this forum provides lots of inspiration.
It's important to enjoy our low-carb lifestyle, otherwise we'd never stick to it, would we?

Thursday, we were treated to several hours of glorious warm sunshine here in London, without the high humidity that accompanied previous hot spells this year.

Raspberries with Greek full-fat yoghurt.
Water to drink.

D: Seafood salad made with king prawns, mussels, lettuce, sweet cicely, vine tomatoes, celery and salad onions dressed with home-made mayonnaise, using egg, avocado oil, white wine vinegar, parsley, garlic powder and seasonings, scattered with toasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds.

LOL I read your message first time round as Iceland the country @Gezzabelle. Silly me. Most avocados are imported from Peru, Mexico and other parts of Central America during our Winter. In Summer some come from Spain.

Thank you for the tip which of course refers to Iceland the supermarket!

I've come unstuck with avocados labelled "perfectly ripe and ready to eat." At best the flavour was disappointing.

I find it's safer to buy avocados when they're still rock hard, store them at room temperature for 3-4 days (depending on their best before date) and enjoy! Then, in the unlikely event they're not eaten right away, refrigerate until needed.
